Photography has always been part of my life. Growing up as a child I watched my father dress up in his fancy dinner suit to go off and capture the fabulous moments of someone's wedding. As a little girl I loved looking at the finished pictures, dreaming of my own wedding and mesmerised by how happy each and every person was on their special day.
Whilst I have always had a strong interest in photography, picking up tips along the way from my father and getting out and about with my camera, it had always only been a dream that I could one day enter into the professional world and myself capture the magical moments of others.
Having now had the pleasure of photographing some of my friends and family's weddings I loved every moment of playing a vital part in their day. The buzz of being around a couple on their wedding day, sharing in the joy with family and friends and having the privilege to capture all of their special moments to last forever is such a wonderful feeling.
The particular way in which my father took his pictures has filtered down into my own photography. Being unseen but able to capture unique and natural moments to remember for a lifetime is a vital skill that I have learned and shows in the images I produce.
I dedicate this journey to my father and thank him for this wonderful gift he has passed down to me.
