Louise & Alistair

The Glasshouse, Edinburgh

Louise has been waiting to marry her man for a VERY long time! After, well just a few conversations around the topic, Alistair finally popped the question and the date was set.  Louise went into full scale planning with Alistair along for the ride and happy with every decision she made.  One decision she had no say in however was Alistair’s transport to the venue.  Travelling in style, Alistair took the number 26 LRT bus right to the door of The Glasshouse for their big day.

And what a day, the sun was shining allowing for the couple to get married out doors on the venue’s rooftop just like Louise had always envisioned.  Getting ready with her friends it was a chilled morning with the groom arriving (on his bus) promptly on time.

The whole day was as relaxed as the morning with Louise floating into the ceremony to huge cheers from the crowd, everyone acknowledging it was about time!  True love however filled the ceremony with handfasting, readings and a prayer stone to symbolise their commitment to each other.

Big cheers again at the I do’s, the day swiftly moved into formal shots of the family and the happy couple.

A twist on tradition the speeches were delivered by mother of the bride, maid of honour and the fabulous bride herself, after listening to many speeches, these were some of the best!

Drinks on the rooftop with the amazing back drop of the Edinburgh skyline right over to The Firth of Forth, the first dance soon came round.  The first time I have ever heard babyshark as a first dance, it perfectly captured the fun essence of the day and definitely a wedding to remember.
